What often goes missing from a solar quotation
The same plant can be quoted far apart, depending on what is left out. This is how we treat each item.

Statutory charges are set by the DISCOM and the state, not by us. We do not mark them up and we do not bury them in a round number.
Comparing solar quotations
What should a rooftop solar quotation include?
At minimum: the module make, model, wattage and count; DCR or Non-DCR; the inverter make and capacity; structure, cables, distribution boxes, earthing and lightning protection with makes; a generation estimate for your roof; who handles net metering; which statutory fees are yours; GST; a written list of exclusions; payment milestones; and warranties.
Why are two solar quotations for the same size so different?
Usually because they are not the same plant. One may include transport, net-metering work, better cable or a heavier structure, while the other leaves them out or adds them later. Compare line by line, not the total.
